Consumers who had pre-ordered the handset in Huawei stores could pick their phones in-store the same evening. Posts and photos online showed consumers forming long queues at Huawei outlets nationwide. On August 29, Huawei launched pre-sales of its Mate 60 Pro flagship phone on its official website without any advance publicity.
