Alibaba’s cloud and erotice historical menage rcomputing division has added Meta’s recently released large language model Llama2 into ModelScope, an open-source “model-as-a-service” platform owned by the e-commerce giant. This enables Chinese corporations to train their own AI models or develop applications based on Llama2. The move coincides with the cloud unit’s preparations for a separate IPO. As Llama2 is developed by a US-based company, Alibaba Cloud issued a statement to remind Chinese developers using Llama2 to adhere to the country’s laws and regulations.
