A bunch of humorless and fun-hating jerks are trying to ruin the famous Hillsborough, Calif., Flintstones-style house by getting it declared a public nuisance. So reports the East Bay Times, which notes that it's the latest additions to the home that have Hillsborough planning and building officials peeved.

The house, built in 1976, has for years divided the community on whether or not it is an amazing tribute to whimsy, or an oozing eyesore.
The home's current owner, Florence Fang, reportedly began renovations on the property in 2017 that the East Bay Timesnotes include "a herd of 15-foot dinosaurs, plus a giraffe, mastadon, and brightly-colored mushrooms."
Hell yeah.
A local attorney, Mark Hudak, apparently is not a fan. He has filed a complaint with the San Mateo Superior Court, arguing that the dinosaurs are too tall and constitute "unenclosed structures" which require special permits.
Town officials appear to be on Hudak's side, and want the dino sculptures removed. It's unclear what happens next, but one thing is certain: people sure can be lame when they set their minds to it.
